You can check the tire pressure using a tire pressure gauge. First, remove the valve cap from the tire valve stem, then place the gauge on the stem and press down hard enough to get a reading. Compare the reading to the recommended pressure listed in the owner’s manual or on the sticker inside the driver’s side door jamb. If the pressure is too low, add air until it reaches the recommended level. If the pressure is too high, release some air until it’s at the proper level. Repeat the process for each tire.
